Brian is an award winning writer and director from Cork City, Ireland

In May 2021, he won the inaugural Puttnam award at the Fastnet Film Festival for his screenplay Wireless. Production will commence in late 2021.

Over the past number of years, he has lived, wandered and worked in London, New York, Dublin and Normandy, France

He works independently across a number of disciplines as a creator, director, writer, photographer, musician, producer and anything else that needs doing

He runs the successful production company Madra Mór Productions and he has also worked with larger companies such as the BBC, The National Theatre, London, and the UK's largest immersive theatre company, Punchdrunk

His short films have been screened in film festivals throughout the world including Raindance, London Short Film Festival and The Chicago Irish Film Festival. He currently has a number of short films and two feature length films in development. He has also created music videos for some of Ireland's leading musicians and bands

In March 2018, Brian had his first solo visual exhibition in St. Peter's event centre in Cork City

He spends the month of July teaching a film course at the Berridge Theatre and Film programs located at the historic Chateau le Mont Epinguet in Normandy, France

His photography has been featured in numerous print and online publications and he has worked with a number of bands and creative companies to help produce photographic content

In theatre, he was awarded the audience award for the short play, Trapped, which was part of the Cork Arts Threatre short play festival. Brian directed and also acted in the play. His previous theatre show (his debut directing/writing) -  'We Lived In Cities' - was nominated for a 'Spirit Of  The Festival' award at the Dublin Fringe Festival and played to a sold out Triskel Art Centre as part of The Cork Film Festival. He currently has a new show 'Zenographic' - (an immersive experience) - in the early development stage

He has also played music in a number of original bands and has toured Ireland, America and the UK with highlights including playing alongside Ocean Colour Scene in Dublin and playing London's famous watering hole - The Dublin Castle
